Fractional Yacht Ownership in South of France & Monaco

The Yacht Share Network in France and Monaco is operated by William Parton, arguably the most experienced British yacht broker in France. He is somewhat unique in the Côte d’Azur, being the ABYA’s most long-standing independent professional yacht brokers association member.

William is resident in the South of France, fluent in English and French and is therefore on hand locally to take care of your needs; with access to an excellent support network of trusted professional contacts.

Since 1995 he has been looking after the sale and maintenance of used and new boats, standing the test of time, he has truly seen and dealt with it all!

The French Riviera just oozes charm and romance. Referred to as the Côte d’Azur, it runs from Italy along to Spain, incorporating the coastline of the French Riviera and Monaco.

It’s the birthplace of stylish yachting. With up to 50% of the worlds’ Superyachts based there and circa 90% of all Superyachts having visited this epicentre of yachting.

It’s no surprise that there are an abundance of coastal hotspots all along this coast. Monaco, Saint Tropez, Cannes, Antibes and Nice are just a few of the must-visit ports of call.

Overview

A timeless classic, Important Business was built by experienced Italian yard, Falcon Yachts.Combining all the key features of a yacht in her size range, this 26-metre has distinctive exterior lines that are indisputably European, while her interior showcases the most impressive use of space. With a family-friendly arrangement for 10 guests in 4 cabins and with room for 4 crew, one of the yacht’s many highlights is her full-beam master cabin which spans the vessel offering a stately feel. Undergoing various upgrades since her launch, followed by a full refit 2019 Important Business boasts key amenities, from her jacuzzi on the upper deck, dining area on the aft and sun-lounging area on the bow. With low engine hours powered by twin Caterpillar 1350HP engines, she cruises at 22 Knots with a top speed of 24 Knots.Important Business is perfect for anyone looking to cruise the Med with both ease and sophistication. She comes really well equipped with all the usual equipment one would expect on a mini Superyacht this such as on board high speed WIFI, water maker and suchlike as well as water toys such as an excellent brand new 14’ tender with a new outboard engine and a Seabob.

Complete refit including full stabilisation!

This Falcon 86 is undoubtably the best one there is. That’s quite a statement to make, but when one learns of just how extensive her 2019 and 2021 refits have been, it almost seems an understatement. When taking on such a project, one has to make sure that the actual yacht is deserving. She needs to be timeless in design and have the initial build integrity to justify the refit expense. This yacht truly ticked those boxes. The outcome is quite amazing, she now has a classic but luxurious feel, coupled with that sharp and clean new look and comes fully stabilised with up to the minute nav equipment.

This spacious yacht was selected by the syndicate because she has 4 high calibre cabins, sleeping 10 guests as two cabins have further fold out pullman berths. The owners’ cabins boasts a separate access stairwell which offers superb privacy, even when there are 10 guests on board. Each cabin has a decent sized en-suite heads so no guests feel they have the drawn the short straw. The syndicate is made up of shareholders each enjoying 6 weeks use a year, with a couple of shareholders having bought 2x 6 week shares so they can enjoy fortnights on board at a time. There is an even spread of nationalities as well as retirees versus parents with school age children. This means there is a broad cross-section of preferences regarding the choice of school holidays, and those who prefer to avoid time on board during those busier periods in the Cote d’Azur.Having a full time crew on board means this yacht can cover greater distances without always having to return to its home port for change-over days. The co-owners therefore sometimes pre-arrange change-overs in say Corsica or Sardinia to extend her cruising grounds. Her home port is Menton and her mooring is set in a particularly peaceful location with lovely views of the old town and yet only a 45 minute drive from Nice Airport. This syndicate is a Fractional Association Platinum Member, working to the association’s Code of Conduct and fulfil their Maintenance Management criteria. This includes an owners’ website for the selection of their weeks, a communication forum and real time access to the management accounts. The expertise of the syndicate is immediately recognisable by their careful selection of this very high calibre and completely updated and refitted customised yacht.
