Fractional Yacht Ownership in the Italian Riviera

The Italian Riviera exudes the very best of Italy being old world charm coupled with picture perfect ports tucked under this mountainous Mediterranean coast.

World renowned Italian cuisine and a friendly relaxed pace with seemingly unlimited hideaways make these seas the perfect location for getting away from it all yachting.

This coast is much less developed than the French Riviera and many boaters feel that the Ligurian Coast is an even better a yachting destination than its more famous French Riviera neighbour. Many itineraries are based on visiting beautiful town after beautiful town, each painted with the traditional orange and red facades, with an attractive church steeple above the town, with mountains behind, and a bustling port at your feet offering fine dining in a relaxed setting.

The Ligurian Coast stretches from France through the historic port of Genoa, and along the scenic mountainous coast including the very famous towns of Portofino, Camogli, San Rocco and the Cinque Terre.

Benetti Tradition 101 Syndicate Information

This is the 2nd yacht run by some members of this extremely experienced syndicate, who have enjoyed many years of syndicate ownership on various yachts in the past with one another. They are buying into this new yacht for 2020 and the current owner is retaining a share as he bought the yacht from new.

This syndicate is made up of 4 shareholders each enjoying between 4 and 12 weeks use a year, dependant on how much charter income they wish to use to subsidise their maintenance contribution. The owners are all British and there is an even spread of retirees and parents with school age children. This means there is a broad cross-section of preferences regarding the choice of school holidays, and those who prefer to avoid time on board during those periods.Having a full time crew on board means this yacht can cover greater distances without having to return to its home port for change-over days. The intention is to put together a number of different summer itineraries to interesting ports of call not normally reachable on 1 week shared ownership rotations. For example:Week 1 – Cannes to Balearics with extensive cruising around the islands.Week 2 – Balearics to Sardinia with extensive cruising around SardiniaWeek 3 – Sardinia to Corsica with extensive cruising in both areasWeek 4 Corsica to Italian Riviera with extensive cruising around along the coastand so on….This syndicate is a Fractional Association Platinum Member, working to the association’s Code of Conduct and fulfil their Maintenance Management criteria. This includes an owners’ website for the selection of their weeks, a communication forum and real time access to the management accounts. This spacious Flybridge Yacht was selected because it has 4 very high calibre cabins, each one boasting a decent en-suite heads with extra features like his & hers sinks. The four ensuite cabins are light, bright and cool, providing unparalleled comfort and luxury. The similarly designed saloon and interior dining area are spacious and include a small bar. This yacht is a perfect blend of classic and contemporary yacht design. The timeless and traditional style of Italy’s world-renowned Benetti shipyard has been coupled with the fresh and uncluttered interiors from Sarah King Designs in England, to make this vessel unique in its class. She was nominated in the prestigious World Super Yacht Awards 2009.The custom-created, on-demand entertainment system offers movies of every genre and a generous music library in all guest interior areas. In addition, ‘live’ television from around the world is provided along with a selection of the best international, UK and local radio. Guests can supplement the dedicated audio entertainment by connecting their iPhone, iPad or similar device into the on-board system. The three exterior decks are spacious, offering five separate locations for guests to relax in the sun or shade, enjoy a drink or dine. For her size, she offers a generous selection of water activities including jet skiing, Seabobs, water skiing and boarding, kayaking, sailing, fishing and snorkeling. All this is managed and supported by a highly experienced and dedicated crew, including her outstanding chef, who will provide the very best in world cuisine including guests’ food and wines of choice. The expertise of the syndicate is immediately recognisable by their careful selection of this very high calibre long distance cruiser, having been uniquely customised by Benetti yachts.
